Last nights Make, Do and Mend, Exeter Phoenix

The first night out on my own since baby was born in October!  After contemplating going out and leaving Tobit to put all 3 children to bed I couldn’t quite bring myself to do that so went out once they were all in bed.  There in the Black Box was a group of ladies (meant to ask in any men had ventured through the doors, I’m sure they’d be very welcome!) sat round the tables busy making and talking.  It was great to get out and swap tips on interfacing and bondaweb!  I also hand finished some projects.  So, if you’ve thought about it and not braved it, my advice is just go, they are friendly and don’t bite!  The group have also set up a forum if you’re looking for tips or advice.  Next meeting: Tuesday 1st June. (I got home to find all the children sleeping soundly – they can do it!)
