And the winner is….(plus something for everyone!)

10 Nov

I’ve had great fun reading all your comments, I hope you all did the jumping up and down, nursery rhyme thing.  I know some of you made a great effort.

I’m amazed at how many of you wanted to get your hands on the vintage FQ’s and I feel really lucky that I’ve found so many sheets and pillowcases when there are those of you who never see any!  You just have to keep looking, this week I’ve been to the charity shop twice and got 2 double sheets (the same print) and 2 different pillowcases.

So I asked Mr/Mrs Random Number Generator who should win and they said:

which is Sydney who left a comment saying:

How generous you are! Those vintage sheet FQs are stunning.. 🙂

So Sydney I’ll email you and once I have your postal address I’ll be sending those fat quarters your way.

The rest of you?  Please don’t pout and say ‘it’s not fair’, (I have enough of that from my children)  I thought I’d offer anyone who commented on the giveaway post the chance to get your own bundle of vintage loveliness, 10 FQ’s for £8 (plus actual cost of postage).  Email me or leave a comment on this post if you want to take me up on this offer I’ll leave it open until next Wednesday and it will be on a first come, first served basis (I need to have some stock for the vintage fair a week on Saturday where I’ll be selling them at £1.30 each or 10 for £10).

  1. Me Please! Congrats to Sydney and great choice of prize. Can I have a bundle please Mary, would you mind passing them to me at the Handmade market as its only a month away to save on postage? I will pay for them now though. Also do we get to be cheeky and pick which fq we would like? Em x

  2. Count me in for a pack Mary, they all look great. Just let me know how I’ll pay and other details.

    Looking forward to receiving them
