Another month flew by and I’ve struggled to find photo’s in my flickr stream to evidence much sewing:
In fact this might look more impressive than it is, the 2 cushion fronts were made more than a year ago but were completed in September. But there was a bee block, the last And Sew On BOM, a trial vintage sheet string block and some pattern testing.
I also joined in the Broken Herringbone QAL , I love these blocks and had to have a go at making them:
I’ve now got 11 so plan to make one more and turn it in to a quilt top.
Linking up as usual with Lynne and looking forward to seeing what others have been making.
Oh how I love your sewing machine block! That must have taken forever!
gorgeous makes! I really love those broken herringbone blocks, it’s going to be a perfect rainbow quilt!
Oh wow I am going to have to have a go at those Broken Herringbone blocks they are stunning.
Love the broken herringbones!
I love seeing all the broken herringbones – your’s are great!
Looks busy to me!! Plus you did a load of cutting xxx
Broken Herringbone is such a pretty pattern. Your finished quilt will be lovely 🙂
11 broken herringbone blocks!! Amazing! I was hoping to join in but got a bit overwhelmed with other things!! I love the fabrics in the bee block – is that a range, or fabrics you’ve put together from your stash?
Looks like a pretty impressive round up to me!
You made good stuff though!
