I’m attempting to pull together all my WIP’s rather than pretending that I just have one thing on the go and I’m joining in with the 2015 Finish-Along in an attempt to get some of these done! Sadly I don’t think this is all my WIP’s but it’s a start!
1. A pile of #scrappylogcabinqal blocks:
I’m planning to get these assembled
in the next week before the end of the month into a quilt top for Siblings Together, the quilt itself needs to be finished by July to go to the charity’s summer camps.
2. A tin of 1″ hexies basted while on holiday over New Year, I needed a hand sewing project and so I pulled the scraps of Tule left over from the quilt I made for my youngest brothers wedding:
I didn’t gift them anything at Christmas (we’re not big on gifts for the sake of it in my family), I’m wondering what to do with these (other than make more) and think I might make some cushion covers to go with their quilt. It will be their first anniversary in April so you never know there might be a finish for that.
3. Almost a year ago I made a start on the Retro Flowers quilt using vintage sheets from my extensive collection, I picked it up again in the autumn but since then it has sat neglected on the side. I really should finish it especially as the tricky business of curves has been dealt with!
4. Last year I joined in the All Shirt swap, I have 34 paper pieced shirts just waiting for something to happen.
I’m torn between doing something with these and paper piecing some Outhouses…
I’m really hoping that I can get at least 2 of these completed before the end of this first quarter.
