Sunday Stash #26

18 Jan

Welcome to another edition of Sunday Stash.

Black Friday seems like a long time ago but the one purchase I made arrived only this week. I preordered a FQ bundle of Doe and a stack of co-ordinating solids from Gotcha Covered Quilting!

There was a delay in the fabric arriving with Carrie, but once it was there she cut speedily and my order was posted last Friday and arrived with me 4 working days later!

It’s everything I hoped it would be and more! I’m really pleased with the solids selection too.  I had checked out Carolyn’s blog post on the Kona solids that coordinate with Doe and I added a selection of them to my order.  Today I labelled them all while I thought about it so that I know which one is which in the future.

I have a vague plan for them but that could change, right now I’m just happy to have it in the house!

I also bought this remnant from Frumble:

Ironing a shirt by Timeless Treasures; I’m thinking it will be useful when I eventually get round to doing something with my collection of paper pieced shirts!

I feel like there has been a lot of fabric being added to my stash recently but I’m pleased to say that last weeks stash addition of yellow chevrons has already been cut up and pieced to make a quilt back this weekend.

As usual I’m linking up with:

  1. Ironing a shirt is too cute! I just told my mom I want to buy a couple yards of it to make a cover for my ironing board. Is that too obvious a use for it? Don’t care cause I need a new cover for it 😉 Good for you for cutting into the yellow chevrons, that’ll be a pretty project!

  2. Loving your circling geese and deer, and rather impatiently waiting for my Doe and co-ordinating solids to arrive! Actually, since I ordered the solids from the UK and the Doe from the US, albeit a few days apart, they’ll be racing each other here ;o)
