It’s been a busy week and I’ve not blogged about any of the things on my list. I’ve been working on a secret project and I finished my part of it yesterday.
I had a telephone call from my youngest brother yesterday saying that he and his wife are coming to visit for a few days over the weekend so I’m stitching as fast as I can to get a couple of finishes in to gift to them.
This is an 18″ piece that I will turn in to a cushion cover:
This will also be a cushion cover of some sort, I’m still undecided but right now I just need to get the hexies stitched together:
The fabrics are the leftover from the quilt I made for a wedding gift for them last year, I think I have enough for backing and binding both cushions too.
I still have 2 quilts that need binding:
And I can’t begin to think about what other things I might have missed – but yes we have well and truly smashed the block target for Siblings Together but we are still a way off the target of 100 finished quilts for summer; please help if you can.
I’m linking up with Lee:
Love the pillow cover! I just made my first with hexagons this past weekend! I love it! I’m sure they are going to love these beautiful gifts!
The pillow cover is going to be great! Good luck on finishing.
Love both these groups of fabrics, you’ve really matched them nicely to your projects!
those are going to be beautiful pillow covers!!! Hope you get them done before your visitors arrive!!
Lots of lovely projects going on. I hope you are able to meet your 100 quilt goal.
The cushions are going to be fabulous!
