Workshops and teaching

I teach some classes at Arrietty in Exeter and teach small groups and do private individual tuition either in my home or yours. From basic sewing skills including threading your machine to more advanced techniques such as sewing with zips and free motion applique.

‘You will leave with your own distinctive, elegant frame purse and a skill you will use again and again. Taught by Exeter Craft heroine Mary Emmens. A fun and practical skill, you will be thrilled with the result and it is sure to not be your last…’

£25 (£15 deposit)
You will need a sewing machine that you are able to use and two pieces of 12? x 6? fabric to give your purse its own distinctive flavour. All other materials are provided.
