Winner:

Hello and welcome to my corner of the blogging world.

I’m Mary, 30 something, living in the south west of the UK with my 3 small children and amazingly wonderful patient and tolerant husband!

I love to sew, and often do so in spite of everything else going on around me, it’s my safe space, my therapy!

For nearly a year I’ve been getting out of bed early on a Sunday morning and spending half an hour or so rummaging around at the car boot sale, what I’ve mainly been looking for is vintage sheets, and I’ve been fortunate enough to find a few:

Car boot finds!

Back in January I joined in the Oh My Stars quilt along and used vintage sheets to make this beauty:

Oh My Stars finished quilt

You can read more about it here as my entry into Bloggers Quilt Festival.

As a result of my car boot and charity shop finds our house is overflowing with vintage sheets so at the beginning of the month I set up an Etsy shop selling vintage sheet charm packs:

Vintage sheet charms 5"

Over the weekend I whizzed up a baby quilt using a pack of 42 charm squares:
