Today it’s time for something a little different, no sewing, no fabric, no new projects but I do have a giveaway of some sewing related gamery.
You may know that I’m not the world’s biggest fan of computer games, but thanks to a good friend of ours my children have been introduced to that world and have a variety of X-Box and DS games.
Andy’s off to E3 this week to check out new family games for ‘us’ and has a couple of sewing related games to giveaway:
First up is the Lalaloopsy game for the DS:
For any of you with young girls who are into Lalaloopsy here is a Sew Magical! Sew Cute! game. With your love and a little bit of imagination, the Lalaloopsy™ magic can go on forever! Explore the whimsical Lalaloopsy world and make all sorts of new Lalaloopsy friends. Make cookies, grow flowers and more. There is sew much to do, create cute crafts and interact with precious pets.
This game can be shipped internationally.
Andy is also giving away a copy of Kirby’s Epic Yarn:
The game is not actually about sewing but the game has a look of animated yarn and a world of cloth and textiles so visually it might just please us sewing folks. You can watch a video of me talking about my thoughts on gaming and see Andy playing Epic Yarn here.
This game can only be played in the UK.
Don’t worry I’ve not been converted to game playing and funnily enough what has happened is that I’ve helped to hook Jo, Andy’s wife onto sewing, so if games aren’t for you why not check out her new(ish) blog here.
Disclaimer: Andy will ship the games to the winners. I have not received any free games as a result of this post but he might well be bringing back a bag of sewing swag from his trip to the US.
