Yes that is the title of July’s block in the And Sew On BOM.
I usually crack on with BOM early in the month, often as soon as it’s out, but this month I’ve had a lot on and this was way down the list of priorities.
But once FQ Retreat was over the pressure was off to get other things done so on Tuesday I decided to tackle this. I’m not sure why or how but despite the fiddly bits around the middle of the rotary cutter it still all came together really well. Maybe I have found my paper piecing groove or something but I certainly feel much happier with doing these blocks than I did at the start of the year.
I was unable to come up with any suitable ‘ruler’ fabric for the ruler at the bottom of the block, I guess I could have gone for a solid and stitched something on later but I didn’t and just went with the tape measure fabric which I’ve previously used.
Just 2 months left and then I’ll have a great collection of blocks and maybe even a sewing space to hang them in!
Looking fab! Your blocks all look so great together – I think you chose perfect fabrics! Hard to believe we are down to the last couple of blocks!!
Wow! Those blocks are outstanding! I haven’t heard of that BOM before now.
