Not that many blog posts ago (2 to be precise) I set out my goal for April, to make 7 more shirts for the All Shirt Swap.
By the time we were ready to go to London for the wedding (16th) I had made none, so the evening before we left I was in need of some sewing therapy and stitched one up:
Last week I found time to cut out some fabric and stitch 2 more:
I hadn’t really planned to make 2 but I liked these fabrics and as I had some left from making one decided to another ‘in reverse’.
I had a workshop to teach on Saturday and had been a little bit stressed/anxious about it as I’d not officially taught paper piecing before, it went well and as a wind down I spent some of Sunday paper piecing more shirts:
And there are my seven shirts that I set as my goal for the month. I could have made more as I have some more cut but I ran out of copies of the pattern!
I might have a new favourite, I might not be able to send them all away to be swapped, only time will tell! I hope your managing to meet any goals you have set yourself this month.

Go you!
I love the reversed pieces in the neck/back.

Yay, glad you got them all done 🙂
Oh, they are a bit cute!!
yay shirts! I am doing this too. my goal for next month is gonna be to do enough to make a 4×4 quilt once I get them all back. maybe one of these will be in it!
well done on reaching your goal, they look great!
Mary – These are just so precious! I hope you’re making a whole quilt out these because I insist on seeing it. Like really, Mary, don’t let me down!! And I totally want that shirt in the bottom right in my size. 😉
