Organised sewing?

3 Jan

If you hang out on Instagram you have probably noticed a sew-along using Aneela Hoey’s new book Stitched Sewing Organisers (check out Tuppencehapennyquilts for more information).  I bought the book earlier in the summer and decided to join in.

My first make was also on my FAL list: it’s the Handy Fold-Up pouch, I made a couple:

The instructions are really clear and these were a quick make.  The pouches themselves are really handy for all sorts of little items; bobbins and wonder clips and also for any non-sewing related items that might need organising.

There are plenty of projects in the book and almost all of them are useful for not just sewing organisers!

  2. I totally missed the sew-along for this book but I really do want to get a copy and just sew along on my own. Your projects are beautiful! On behalf of the global hosts of the Finish A Long, thank you for participating!
