Have you ever had that experience when you make something and you know it will be fairly simple to make another one as long as you do it soon? So following on from making a Rowan Tee for Leah I cut one out for Mathias and got on with sewing it.
He chose the fabric when I was shopping the Fabricworm sale on Charley Harper and Birch fabrics knits just before Christmas. It’s not my favourite print and it’s bigger than I thought it would be but he loves it so that’s great. I didn’t fancy pattern matching the pocket in on the front and had some knit fabric left over from the Hudson pants I made for Bethan last week which matched the grey. I also used it for the hood.
I made this in age 8 size, it has some growing room in it which is no bad thing.
I’m happy to be adding in my new labels to all new makes; these were printed by Ribbon Reel Printing and I’m pleased with how they turned out.
This was on my FAL list for quarter 1 so I’m off to link up before it’s too late.
It looks wonderful on him!
Great fabric! 🙂 Looks so comfy.
