It’s almost the end of the year and I’ve not been fabric shopping but I was fortunate to win my choice of charm packs from Stiches N’ Giggles from the A Lovely Year of Finishes team of Melissa and Shanna. I chose a couple of charm packs of Wishes by Sweetwater:
The customer service I received from Lori was brilliant, and delivery from the USA was speedy. I don’t know what I’ll use them for but it a great line with a lovely text print and some great colours.
Next up is a stack of low volume charms from the swap run by the wonderful Rachael of The Floral Suitcase, she did a great job of organising her first swap and yesterday I had this bundle arrive in the post:
I took 2 spaces in the swap so ended up with 2 of each print. I have plans to make a low volume quilt next year, not sure what pattern I’ll use but these will be a great start.
Have you been stashing or are you waiting for the sales?

I did the same arrangement with my low volume charm squares, laying them out on my sewing table. Aren’t they great? You had quite a role, as I followed your lead and then half my sewing bee and some other bloggy friends joined in. Looking forward to seeing what everyone makes.
Lori is great at Stitches and Giggles, great low volume stack.
I have some LV Fqs and Charms from swaps that I plan to use this coming year. Nice stashing!
Lovely eye-candy. That Wishes looks lovely! No fabric for me lately, but I might treat myself in the sales 😉 Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Low Volume charms x
I stashed on Black Friday, and the last parcel arrived yesterday (the postie keeps all my parcels for a Saturday, nice man that he is) I also LV swapped!
Good choice on the charm packs! I’ve started cutting up some of my LV squares already.
I got my lv charms too, but I’ve not really had a look at them! And somehow poor Rachel had to add postage!?!
A Low Volume charm swap is a fabulous idea and i am sorry that i missed it. it looks like a wonderful selection.
