I’ve made progress on some of my WIP’s from last week.
I’m now in the middle of quilting my #scrappylogcabinqal quilt:
I’m guessing it might be bound and finished by this time next week!
I’ve starting piecing the blocks to make up the petals of my Retro Flowers quilt.
I thought that sewing the curves was the tricky bit over and done with but actually piecing these blocks together and getting seams to line up is also not straightforward!
I’ve also basted some more hexies and have been having more of a serious think about what comes next.
I had a browse on pinterest at hexie projects and came across a number of lovely ones. I think I will have enough hexies to make a couple of cushion covers if that’s what I decide on.
In addition to last week I have a pile of vintage fabric from a local lady who has commissioned me to make a bag with it.
I’m just mulling over a few ideas in my head, fairly confident that inspiration will strike and the ideas that come to me will fit her brief!

You’ve been very busy! Love those hexies and the curved retro blocks. I can’t bring myself to make a quilt with quite so many curves!
I already have serious quilt envy over your retro flowers blocks 🙂
I’ll be watching your retro quilt – I’ve been looking for ideas and I love the retro colors. I love your hexies too – super cute! Thanks for sharing.
That’s a lovely lot of things you have going on there xxx
Loving your retro flowers blocks… it’s going to look great! and your colour combo for those hexis is very fresh & modern! Linda
I love all the fabrics I’m seeing. The hexies are really cool.
You have some lovely projects on the go. I can’t decide which is my favourite! The Retro Flower blocks are beautiful, they would look great as raindrops too.
Those are some gorgeous hexagons!
Looks like a good list, good luck with the retro flowers!
Lovely fabrics – I especially love those hexies!
