Ooo I have a right pile of pretties to show you this week and I actually bought all of them!
A couple of weekends ago the Craft 4 Crafters show was held locally and I had a whole bunch of free tickets so I took my girls along on the Saturday. It’s not the best show for fabric but there are a few good stalls including The Shuttle who have a bricks and mortar shop in Shipley, West Yorkshire (the other end of the country from me).
So I found Chasing Butterflies in Clementine from Lizzy House’s Catnap collection, a bargain price so I bought 4 metres, perfect for a quilt back one day:
More Lizzy House, this time pink Pearl Bracelets, I’m not 100% sure of this one but I think it’s Frosting. I bought just a metre of this, Pearl Bracelets are a great stash staple in my opinion, they had it in black and a blue too but I already have the blue in my stash from a visit to The Shuttle at Festival of Quilts in the summer!
I really liked this text baking print, which is slightly ironic seeing as having Coeliac’s disease means that the baked goods mentioned are strictly off limits! But it’s a great low volume print, Retro Bake words in turquoise by The Henley Studio for Makower, just half a yard (at a bargain price) of this and a FQ of the Perfect Occasions turquoise blender:
Lastly I found these great text prints, at a great price from a metre bargain bucket:
I had to find out what the text on the brown one is; it’s the days of the week in Danish! The print on the left is Vintage Notions from The Dressmaking Collection by Amy Barickman for Red Rooster Fabrics. I’m sure it’s going to be great for fussy cutting.
So after not really planning to buy any fabrics I ended up with quite a bit! Here’s hoping your week has been full of fabric 😉
I’m linking up with:
Love your finds! That Chasing Butterflies really will make a great quilt back.
These are all fabrics I would have bought myself! Good thing I live in another country, too tempting!
Sure, everyone needs to know the days of the week in Danish 😀
