I wasn’t really expecting to have fabric to ‘share’ this week but on Friday I had a package from the lovely folks at Green Fairy Quilts. I won a gift voucher in the final quarter of the 2015 FAL hosted by Adrianne to spend in their online shop. They are great at precuts and have the facility for customers to preorder lines arriving later in the year. So I ordered 2 charm packs not really knowing when they would arrive.
I’m a fan of fabrics by Brigitte Heitland (more often known as Zen Chic) so after seeing the vibrant colours of Flow I couldn’t resist:
I’ve not opened the charm pack yet so here’s an image from the Moda website which shows all the prints in the line: My other choice was at the opposite end of the spectrum, a low volume line by Jen Kingwell: I think there are a couple of prints that I’d like more of for my low volume stash…
Thanks very much to Adrianne for hosting the FAL and Green Fairy Quilts for sponsoring.
I bought this piece of knit fabric yesterday lunchtime from the local fabric shop:
By dinnertime (for the children) I had made a pair of much needed pyjama trousers for my 11 year old. So no stashing of that one, I even have a plan for the scraps! I did say last week that I’d write a blog post about my ‘sewing with knits’ and as I’ve not done it yet I’ve now got more to add to it!
I’m off to link up:
Gorgeous picks!! I’m so tempted by behind the scenes!
Such fun FQ packs! I think I preordered them both so they should be waiting when we get back from a weekend long trip. And I will look forward to your post of knits, I used to jump right in and see with them fearlessly but it’s been so many years I am a bit hesitant.
Great choices! That Behind the Scenes range looks like it could be extremely handy. 🙂
I’ve had my eye on Behind the Scenes, great low volume. Flow was included in an EQ7 fabric stash I recently purchased, love the colors. Great Sunday Stash!
