You can’t beat open wide zip pouches for a quick teacher gift. The children chose the fabrics and I stitched them up:
The good news is I did get them finished ready for gifting at the end of term:
I love how the children choose zips and linings too:
The fussy cutting on the other side of this pouch was way better, but I guess the photographer wasn’t paying attention to that:
Seagulls are one of my least favourite birds but this print it pretty smart and Mathias thought it just right for his teacher:
I made these using the measurements for the small pouch (sometimes you have to work with the zips you’ve got!
Another year of school complete and we’re already into the second week of the holidays.
These were a tick off the FAL list too. It doesn’t feel like it will be long before it’s time to link these up! I also made a large pouch as a birthday gift for Bethan to give to a friend; she chose geeky fabrics:
And we had the perfect neon zip:Here’s a large and small for comparison:
I guess one would fit well inside the other!
I’m hoping the birthday boy has plenty of ‘stuff’ to fill this with!
Super bags, your little ones have great taste!!
These are great gifts, the make a wonderful change form all the chocolates and flowers. x
I love these pouches and I bet the teachers were thrilled!
I still love these pouches! Congratulations on your finish, and thank you, on behalf of the 2016 global FAL hosts, for taking part!
