November was my month in the Siblings Together quilt bee and I had a brilliant lot of blocks sent to me.
I was running low on red scraps and Nicky (also one of the Scraptastic Tuesday hosts) kindly sent a bag of red scraps with her blocks for me to use in the remaining blocks that need to be made. I have plenty of low volume fabrics to add to the corners.
So last week while thinking about what projects I might take on Saturday to the MQG meeting I thought the bee blocks would be a good plan. I printed off a stack of templates and at the meeting I managed to piece the red on 9 of the blocks.
Now I need to pull out the low volume fabrics to add to the corners but first I’m linking these up:
Please let me know if you would like any more blocks; I woild be pleased to make and post some to you. Happy abd productive New Year! Kate
Fabulous blocks! Nicky is wonderful and it’s always fun using other people’s scraps!
Well you also helped me out – have lots of red left after my Nordikquilt! (I may have overbought red fabric) This will be such a fabulous quilt. Thanks for linking up to #scraptastictuesday!
They’re fabulous!
