Tonight my lovely friend Jo came over to help with quilt making for Siblings Together. Jo is fairly new to sewing but has quickly become an addict (and a more than capable one at that). I didn’t actually do any sewing, I made tea, instructed Jo, cut fabric, pressed blocks and tried to sort out Jo’s machine when the tension went wrong (bobbin was in upside down!).
The fabric arrived from Jennifer in the US yesterday and is now sewn into blocks:
I need another quilt wall as one is currently taken up with Sherbet Pips that I’ve been working on during the day:
If you would like to help out then we’d be delighted to have your support for the purchase of wadding and backing fabric for the quilts. Follow this link to donate. Thanks to those of you who have already supported with time and/or money. Now I really must go to bed!
Yay for so much progress on them! I’m going to do the backing/basting/quilting of the 2 tops I was sent on the bank holiday weekend.
Busy bee x
Wow, you work fast! I’m so impressed!
