Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day – now closed

Giveaway now closed.

Welcome to my blog and to the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day.

I’m Mary, I live in the UK and I spend many of my spare hours sewing and a few of my spare hours searching for vintage sheet fabrics.

Over the last few years I have amassed quite a collection of vintage sheets. I make quilts with them; this is the last quilt I made using vintage sheets:

Vintage Sheet String Quilt

You can read more about it here.  The next vintage sheet quilt is already in progress, it’s a Retro Flowers quilt and currently looks a little like this:

Retro Flowers progress

I’ve set up an etsy shop selling some of my vintage sheet fabrics as charms, kits and FQ bundles.

Today I’m offering you the chance to win a £20 gift certificate to spend in my etsy shop:

To enter leave a comment below telling me what you would spend the gift certificate on if you won (just one entry per person please).

Giveaway is open internationally.

Now go and have fun seeing what others are giving away.

  1. I really love vintage anything and it would be such a treat to have some of your kits! Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. I think I would choose 5″ charm squares and some binding. Thank you for the chance to win!

  3. I’m really tempted by the 5″ charm squares. I LOVE charm squares. But you have a lot of very lovely fat quarters, too. (heh, lovely fat quarters!)

  4. I would buy as many of the 5″ charms as I could! Love vintage sheets!

  5. I would buy the green vintage sheet fat quarters and the blue and purple vintage sheet fat quarters. Thank you for the giveaway!

  6. Vintage sheet charms. I’ve lucked out with thrift store trips and have found a few really nice vintage sheets recently.

  7. I’ve never been lucky to find any cotton vintage sheets in charity shops – lots of polycotton, but no cotton. I’d probably pick some of the FQ bundles if I were the fortunate winner.

  8. Amazing fabrics! I’d go with the mustard/teal fat quarters. And then some more 🙂

  9. Shopping for fabric – charms, jelly rolls, anything. Bad habit that I have now acquired. I just love fabric. Vintage sheets are becoming more popular again. Thank you for being a part of the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway and your generous gift certificate is surely appreciated. Merry Christmas.
