The weeks seem to be flying by (we’re already counting down to the half term holiday) and it’s Sunday again.
A couple of weeks ago Celtic Fusion Fabrics held a giveaway on their Facebook page and I was the lucky winner. In true Facebook style the winner announcement didn’t appear in my timeline so it wasn’t until Gwen left a comment on a IG photo of mine that I knew!
Anyway the lovely prize that I won was this bundle of 14 FQ’s:
These are cotton poplin but I don’t know much about the prints; the selvedge has Mia Petal Designs on it. The Celtic Fusion Fabrics website says that they are printed by Ultimate Textiles in the UK. A bit of further research and I discovered that Ultimate Textiles have a website which states: ‘A great British based fabric company specialising in 45 inch cotton prints and fat quarters designed by the UK’s best and most innovative designers’. So I’m intrigued to see what more comes from them.
Gwen has recently introduced Remnant Sunday to the Celtic Fusion Fabric Facebook page. Last week I had a quick look and fell for this print:

So it arrived with my winnings, it’s 14″ by WOF and as it was out in 2010 I’m guess it’s one of the last pieces out there. It’s a great addition to my small yellow stash, but I can’t imagine I’ll be making any Valentine’s projects with it!

Thanks for putting me on to Celtic Fusion Fabrics. I live in France, where fabric is very expensive, but thi company has reasonablr prices, great “scrap heaps” for stash building purposes and reasonable delivery charges. It’s all too good to be true!
