I feel like this is becoming a regular thing here; fabric arrived again this week! I took advantage of The Village Haberdashery’s sale last week, 20% off fabric already in the sale was too good to miss.
The stripe I bought for bindings, it’s Paris, Stripe in Charcoal, not sure who by but the selvedge reads Vive Gade.
I had my eye on Origami Oasis since it’s release as my eldest is a bit of a fan of origami. I bought a metre of each print and plan to make a pillowcase (for her bed pillow, small ones that you use on the sofa are called cushions in this country!) for her to take away on her residential trip with school next month.

She doesn’t know I bought these fabrics or that I’m making the pillowcase for her, but we’d looked at the fabrics before online and she quite clearly told me she didn’t like the pinky version of the fabrics, so I’m pretty confident she’ll be happy with this combination.
Also arriving was some Kona Snow from Simply Solids, 2 metres to go with the Winterberry fabrics.
I’ve also stashed some interfacings H630 and G700-10! Not an exciting subject for a photo so I didn’t bother!
I was hoping to show a new sewing machine foot but it’s not yet arrived 🙁

Ooo, the origami prints are so cute!
who can resist a sale ? I know I can’t ! Those origami fabrics will make beautiful pillow cases – and they sew up so quick. I made some for my daughters’ university dorm room which were a big hit, everyone was asking her where she bought them.

For the second week in a row I’m jealous of your acquisitions! That Origami Oasis is fabulous! Hope your daughter is pleased with her pillow cases 🙂
That’s going to be a wonderful pillowcase!
