I’ve found a bit of time this week to sew:
I’m making a Preppy the Whale quilt for my son, I managed to do a stack of cutting during the holidays so stitching these up has not taken too long: Last year I made a hedgehog quilt and these are much simpler which is a bonus.
This is definitely my favourite WIP of the week; the Haptic Lab quilt kit that Tobi bought me for my birthday in December. I’m really enjoying working on this, sat on the sofa in the evenings under a quilt, it feels very therapeutic, I just need a much better light so I’m not straining my eyes quite so much:
Another WIP looks like this:
Not the most exciting but it’s essential! I’ve got another couple of patterns that I’m getting ready for testing so if your interested in testing for me please get in touch. One looks like this:
I don’t have a deadline for this, but would like to have it ready for testing by the end of next week although I have a poorly boy at home today who would like me to play Lego with him, no chance of quilt maths!

I love those whales! If you need any animal blocks tested, I’d be very happy to do it for you!
I’d love to help you test your pattern!
Gotta love those whales!! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your map quilt…amazing!
Love the whales in those cheerful reds! As for pattern testing, you know where to find me… ?
The whales are fabulous!
Ooh I missed seeing this – I’m always up for a welshblanket pattern test if you still need one!
just saw Nicky’s finished quilts – your pattern is so gorgeous !
