So despite what I said last week about not having anything else to show for Sunday Stash there was one thing that I had forgotten.
It was a Christmas gift from my lovely husband that had been put safely to one side awaiting photocopying:
Last year I joined in the All Shirt Swap hosted by Lee and had great fun making shirts, I will confess that I’ve not done anything with them yet but I still couldn’t resist the charm of the Outhouse. Lee has organised a Shirts and Outhouse swap which at the moment I’ve not committed to joining in, it has a shipping date of 1 April so there is plenty of time to join in if you fancy.
As you can see I also bought fabric this week. It’s Modern Folkloric grey and yellow (quite a lovely mustardy yellow) chevrons by The Henley Studio for Makower UK, 3 metres of each print at £3.30 per metre from the Fabric Guild they will make awesome quilt backs for the quilts that I plan to make for Siblings Together. I do believe they’ve now sold out of this print but they are a pretty good place to go to in the UK for bargain designer fabrics.
It’s now time for me to go and sort through my vintage sheet stash so I can update my somewhat depleted shop after the new year sale!
That’s after I’ve linked up with:
Loving the chevrons, and happy outhousing!
Oooh I just sewed up sample charm pack of Folkloric today!!
Love the chevrons! That mustard is a great colour.
I bought the last three metres of the grey after your tip off about the sale. I got it for the back of a Siblings Together quilt too!
