I’ve been sorting out some scraps, there are some that are neatly organised in bags in a drawer. These are the scraps left over from making Mathias’ Preppy the Whale quilt:
I think I’m going to stitch these together in this layout to make a cushion cover that will coordinate with his quilt. I’ll have to add a border as the block will probably only be 10″ square.
Last year I made a Hazel Hedgehog quilt for Bethan:
and these are the leftovers, I’ve already stitched them together into pairs and have been considering layouts and thinking about how they could make great patchwork pencil nibs!
A Fancy Fox quilt is on my to do list and I’m wondering what scraps I’ll have to play with from that.
I’m looking forward to seeing what others are doing with their scraps and am very impressed with Leanne’s management and organisation of hers.
