I’m joining Rachel today and sewing, ok she’s hundreds of miles away but we’re virtually together. Are you sewing today? I’d love to hear what you’re up to, join in with Rachel too.
Some of the things on my list for today:
Quilt the Oh My Stars quilt, I’m circular quilting and it’s physically quite challenging so while that is my main focus I’m not sure I can work on that all day.
Leah and I got the binding cut yesterday using the Go! Baby:
Alternatives to quilting are:
Trace patterns for trousers for my 2 girls, and get the fabric cut out. I have a stack of old jeans and cords for upcycling:
Come up with a plan for at least 2 Siblings Together quilts using these fabric bundles:
I have a stash of Sherbet Pips
And this wonderful bundle:
Very kindly donated by Gwen at Celtic Fusion Fabrics, she always has a fantastic range of gorgeous fabrics in, go and drool! You don’t have to spend lots of money to get a fabric hit, for just over £6 you can buy a Fabric Smallie, a delicious bundle of approx 8 different co-ordinating fabrics – a bit like a sweet shop but better!
So on to the quilting, I’ll be back later today, maybe more than once, that will depend on how I progress! Have a great day whatever you’re doing.
Well I have some dishes to do, and ice cream to make, and a floor to mop, but then I’ll be basting my Stained QAL quilt, and hopefully get a good way through the quilting…
Yay!! Sounds like a busy day too. 🙂 I can’t wait to see the progress you make. It’s weird for me to think it’s already lunch time for you and I am just starting my day!! Glad you could join me today, hopefully it’s super productive for both of us!
Cheers!
Rachel
Finished my pot stand/mug rugs off yesterday now started another Dress a Girl dress this afternoon. Then I need my quilting feet to arrive so I can start my quilt!
