I have a head full of things I want to sew and need to sew. Time is even more precious as we are having building work done on the house which will mean that for 8-10 weeks we will only be able to use the living room – yes that does mean no kitchen or dining room which in turn means no sewing space.
I am in denial right now. So much so that a tidy of the fabric stash happened yesterday!

In the tidying I remembered that I did have at least one unfinished project:
I have 40 of these blocks that need to be made into a quilt. So my one aim for this month is to get it finished, not just the top but quilted and bound too – wish me luck.

I just pulled out 3 lap quilts which I started 10-12 years ago which are now on my ‘to be finished’ list.

You can do it! And I know what it is to live without a kitchen/downstairs for 7 weeks! It’s not pleasant, but it does end and it will be worth it in the end! Jxo
Oh Mary, that fabric stash is just beautiful! I am very jealous. My fabric piles are haphazard at the moment to say the least. But my husband has said he can’t stand looking at it and thinks we’re just going to have to bite the bullet and buy a dresser-style cupboard for me to store it in. I kept my face straight while my insides were dancing! Just what I wanted… right, I’m off to mess up my fabrics a bit more in the hope that he heads off to Ikea!!
Okay you have got me. Come h*ll or highwater tomorrow I at least get my sewing room done a bit so I can do some sewing and cutting etc. It’s in such a mess it’s untrue.

Your stash looks wonderful, after Christmas I bet mine resembles your before! There is something wonderful about finishing as I too, have been working on that aspect! Good luck!
