Last summer I bought the Luna pants pattern by Made by Rae; I made myself a pair out of a light cotton chambray from the local fabric shop. I wore them for work frequently and they were wonderful light and comfy; so I bought a grey chambray from Fabrics Galore at the Festival of Quilts in August, I washed the fabric immediately and then it sat waiting.
Back in April I eventually got round to cutting and stitching the trousers:
It really didn’t take long especially as I did most of it on my overlocker. I remembered last week while wearing them that they were on my FAL list so I asked Tobit to take a few photo’s. We’re having major work done on the house at the moment so it’s a building site shoot!
I used some voile for the pockets and the waistband facing:
A successful make and I’ve worn them a number of times already; perfect for the heatwave we had last week! This is sadly one of the few ticks off my FAL list this quarter.
Lovely trousers, Mary! I hope your house is slowly being put together again?!
Beautiful pants – I just love that waistband and pocket fabric! On behalf of the global FAL hosts, thank you so much for playing along with us this quarter!
