Despite my last Sunday Stash post suggesting that there would be no more fabric shopping for a while I did buy a little bit the other week:
But it was essential, well at least the Kona medium grey was, I needed it to add borders to finish off the Fancy Fox quilt top:
The other fabrics? Well my husband is a fan of grey and I love these 2 prints so I added a fat quarter of each to my order from Simply Solids:
We’re fans of maps so this is perfect; Topographic Map in Stone Grey by Erin Michael for Moda).
So many uses for a painters palette of grey also from the Alpine range by Erin Michael.
I’m up early this morning to make a start on teacher gifts as were only 2 weeks away from the end of year, so I must crack on.

Oh, I’d say all of these are essential! Lovely additions! 🙂
I haven’t seen any of those fabrics….they’re wonderful!
Oh yes, the Fancy Fox is adorable!
How did I miss that wonderful topography fabric!! I placed an order with Simply Solids only the other day and somehow I wasn’t paying attention. I also love maps and reading them – although I wouldn’t be without my satnav I’m afraid to say. I will just have to go shopping again!!
Oh wow, I really love the Topographic Map Moda print; it is really fabulous. And of course you have to buy fabric to finish quilts that are already in progress. 🙂
Gorgeous greys! That map print is beautiful!
That gray painter’s palette would be in my stash in a jiffy, too! I’ll keep my eye out for it. Also that topography is amazing – I like it more than the Carolyn Friedlander topographical fabric from a couple of years ago.
