A win and a swap?

24 Sep

Just a quick Saturday night post before I put my feet up…

A crazy week of back and forth to school 3 times a day, a bit of sewing and a husband off to San Francisco.

In the post came this little pile of delights:

Fat quarters of Jenaveve a gorgeous fabric line designed by Valori Wells.  It’s a blended fabric made from 45% cotton and 55% linen so great for heavier weight projects like cushions covers and bags.  This gorgeous bundle came from a giveaway held by the fantastic Julia at Gone to Earth a great UK online fabric store.  They stock a beautiful range of fabrics, patterns, bag making bits and yarn too.  Pop on over and have a look.

If you’re in the mood for Christmas which to be honest is way, way down my list, then you might be interested in a Modern Christmas fabric charm swap that Emily at Strawberry Patch has offered to organise for the UK and Ireland!  Go on over and sign up before it’s too late.

Tobit should be back tomorrow late afternoon/evening so one more day alone with my 3 lovely children and then I may well be treated to some lovely fabric goodies all the way from San Francisco!  Actually I know I will as he has ‘phoned this evening to consult!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
